A set of six vintage French divided plates in the "Sologne" pattern by the Faïencerie de St Amand, found at a brocante here in rural France.

Each plate has three sections and a hand-stencilled spray of rust and brown flowers on a warm cream glaze. In France these were made for fondue and grill suppers, with a section each for meat, sauces and salad. They are just as good for cheese and charcuterie, a ploughman's lunch, or children's teas.
